German company to invest EUR 50 mln in start-ups in Brazil

German company Project A Ventures, founded in Berlin fifteen months ago, has arrived in Brazil in search of internet and mobile start-ups in which it can invest money from its global fund of EUR 50 million, which has received input from the Otto Group. According to Brazilian press reports, the company opened its second global office in Sao Paulo since September and already has two e-commerce start-ups operating in the country, one dedicated to healthy products and called Natue, and another that specialises in wines, called Epicerie.
