German digital ad spend to reach USD 6.12 bln in 2017 - study

Total digital ad spending in Germany is forecast to reach USD 6.12 billion in 2017, according to the latest report from eMarketer. Retailers will account for USD 1.38 billion of this spend, followed by the automotive sector with USD 0.88 billion, the travel sector with USD 0.63 billion and the financial services sector with USD 0.56 billion. Mobile ad spending in Germany is forecast to grow by 30.5 percent in 2017 to more than USD 835 million.
