German digital programmatic ad spend to reach EUR 1.44 bln this year - report

Programmatic digital display advertisement spending in Germany grow 29.7 percent this year to nearly EUR 1.44 billion, according to a new report scheduled for release this week from eMarketer. The share of mobile will increase to account for more than 59 percent of all programmatic ad spending in Germany in 2018, they added. Real-time bidding (RTB) will constitute over half (52 percent) of overall programmatic advert spending in Germany in 2018, with RTB and direct programmatic ad spending on track to be on par with another by the end of 2019, found eMarketer.
