German firms suffer more than twice as much damage from cyberattacks since pandemic began - Bitkom

Digital industry association Bitkom said that online theft, espionage and sabotage cause EUR 223 billion in damage to German companies annually, more than double the two previous years. The increase in telecommuting has been part of the reason, as this has led to security weaknesses.
