German govt awards more federal broadband grants

Germany's Department for Transport and Digital Infrastructure has approved 62 further grants to communities to support the roll-out superfast broadband. Communities in under served areas are eligible to receive grants up to EUR 50,000 from the Federal Broadband Programme, which was launched in November 2015. The programme aims to roll out superfast broadband with speeds of at least 50 Mbps in under served areas.
