German industry associations criticise proposed telecom law reform

German telecom industry associations have criticized the government's draft reform of the Telecommunications Act. The industry group VATM said that apart from a few improvements based on EU requirements, it sees "irresponsible national interventions" and new bureaucracy created in the regulation of contracts and consumer protection.
