German ISPs score only 'satisfactory' in customer service hotline test

Germany's telecom providers and ISPs offer in general satisfactory service over their customer service lines and chat platforms, a test by Stiftung Warentest found. Of the 11 providers surveyed, eight received 'satisfactory' scores, one 'adequate' and two 'poor'. The test included the national operators O2, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, 1&1 and Unitymedia as well as regional players such as Netcologne and Ewe.
