German IT security spending forecast up 9% in 2018

Spending on IT security hardware, software and services has increased 9 percent in the year to date in Germany, according to figures prepared by IDC for the industry group Bitkom. Total spending this year is expected to reach EUR 4.1 billion, up 9 percent, and further growth of 9 percent is forecast for 2019.
