German IZMF presents apps for people with disabilities

Germany's Information Centre for Mobile Communications (IZMF) has introduced useful mobile applications that facilitate the everyday lives of handicapped people on the occasion of the International Day of People with Disability. Camera phones, voice generators, screen readers and Braille contribute to self-determination. The GARI Initiative offers a database of information about accessibility features on mobile devices, which can be accessed via www.mobileaccessibility.info.
