German Minister leads digital networking charter

German Minister for the Economy, Sigmar Gabriel, announced at CeBIT that he was taking over leadership of the 'Charter for Digital Networking'. The Charter is a voluntary commitment to a responsible shaping of the digital society and was initiated as part of the Federal Government's National IT Summit. Signatories to the Charter include Deutsche Telekom, adidas, Deutsche Bahn, Robert Bosch, Cumulocity, RWE, Cisco Systems, Ericsson, GE, Intel Germany, Oracle, Vodafone, Bitkom, VATM, The German Institute for Artificial Intelligence, and the Hasso-Plattner-Institute.
