German mobile connections grow by 428,000 in Q4 - study

The total number of mobile connections in Germany grew by 428,000 in Q4 2015 to reach around 113.8 million at end-December, according to the latest SmartWeb Mobile Report from DSLweb.de. Deutsche Telekom registered the largest net customer growth at 481,000 in Q4 to reach 40.37 million, with Vodafone adding 173,000 net customers to reach 30.39 million. O2's overall customer base fell by 226,000 in Q4 to reach 43.06 million. For post-paid customers, Telekom added 362,000 to reach 23.71 million; O2 lost 202,000 to reach 19.08 million; and Vodafone added 196,000 to reach 16.54 million.
