German mobile customers down by 471,000 in Q1 - study

The number of mobile phone customers in Germany fell by 471,000 to 112.7 million in Q1 2013, according to the latest report from DSLweb.de. Deutsche Telekom increased its mobile customer base by 437,000 to just over 37 million in Q1. E-Plus Group boosted its customer base by 547,000 to 23.95 million, and Telefonica O2 adding around 25,000 new customers. However, Vodafone Germany's mobile customer base fell by 1.48 million in Q1 2103 to reach 32.4 million.
