German municipalities decide not to take subsidies for fibre expansion after vectoring upgrade

Almost 50 German municipalities have decided not to accept subsidies totaling EUR 124 million in recent years for constructing a fibre network, Der Spiegel reports citing a reply from the Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure to an query from the Green Party.
