German non-profit sector plan to increase budget for IT projects this year - study

Four out of ten German non-profit organisations (38%) want to increase their budgets for IT projects this year, according to the Digital Report 2020 published by Haus des Stiftens and funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Three quarters of all non-profit organisations aim to invest in software and 11 percent plan to spend large or very large amounts. Forty-six percent of the organisations also plan to fund IT training, while one third want to invest in external service providers and personnel.
