German operators partner on Berlin subway mobile coverage

Telefonica Deutschland announced an agreement to work with Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone Germany to improve mobile network coverage on the Berlin underground system. Telefonica is the only operator providing service on the subway system so far, and will now work with its two rivals to upgrade and expand the coverage for all three operators. They signed an agreement with the Berlin public transport operator BVG on the plans.
