German regulator issues EUR 1.3 mln in fines for unsolicited telemarketing in 2019

The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) received a total of 57,648 written complaints in 2019 for unsolicited telemarketing, the Deutsche Presse Agentur reports. The number of complaints was slightly lower than in 2018, when it stood at 62,000, but "continues to be a massive problem", the regulator said.
