German regulator names 16 winners of Gaia-X funding competition

The German Federal Network Agency, Bundesnetzagentur, announced the 16 consortia that will receive subsidies in the tender for funding to develop applications for the European cloud platform Gaia-X. The winners will conduct projects in different industries such as health, legal, finance, education, energy, construction and manufacturing, aerospace, maritime, agricultural industries and the public sector. The first projects are expected to start in 2021.
