German regulator opens consultation round on Digital Networks Bill

Remuneration should be set so that "existing synergies" are fully used and incentives for initial investments completely retained, said Jochen Homann, the president of the BNetzA. The existing business models of telecommunications firms and local carriers already investing in the broadband rollout cannot be impaired, he added.
