German regulator requests data from municipalities to facilitate broadband network expansion

The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) said that it has requested data on infrastructure from 11,000 municipalities. This will be combined with information from network operators and utilities in the infrastructure atlas, an important resource for planning broadband expansions.
