German regulator weighs intervention in VHF dispute - report

Germany's national telecoms regulator, the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA), is preparing to intervene in the ongoing dispute over VHF transmissions between antenna and transmission network operators that nearly resulted in a nationwide shutdown of VHF transmissions last week, reported German daily Mitteldeutsche Zeitung (MZ). The regulator said it is investigating "intensively and with high pressure" to see whether and to what extent the purchasers of VHF antennas from Media Broadcast last year should be subject to market regulations, according to MZ.
