German Research Ministry launches initiative to develop local electronics products

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has launched the initiative "Trustworthy Electronics" for the development of electronics products of local origin. Anja Karliczek, the minister of education and research, said that the initiative aims to use know-how to develop electronics production in Germany and Europe. The initiative was launched as part of the BMBF digital strategy.
