German smartphone revenues to decline for 1st time in 2016

Revenues from smartphones have slightly decreased in Germany despite growing unit sales. Some 27.9 million devices are expected to be sold this year, an increase of 6 percent from 26.2 million the previous year. At the same time, revenues are forecast to fall 2 percent to EUR 10.4 billion, according to a recent Bitkom forecast.
