German survey shows gap between real and perceived use of AI

Only 4 percent of the German companies use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to design personalised advertising, according to a survey carried out by digital association Bitkom. However, 77 percent of respondents think AI is used by a large number of companies to design personalised advertising. Over half (55%) believe that customer inquiries are answered with the of help of AI, but in fact, only 3 percent of companies use that system. About 32 percent of the respondents assume that a large number of companies already using AI to automate bookings. Against, in practice, only 3 percent of companies
