German telecoms regulator sees increase in consumer arbitration requests in 2017

The Federal Network Agency, Germany's national telecoms regulator, said it received over 2,500 complaints from consumers against telecommunications firms at its consumer arbitration board in 2017, up from roughly 2,000 in 2016. The arbitration board aims to resolve disputes between consumers and telecoms providers outside of court in free mediation proceedings.
