German transparency regulation for telecom providers goes into effect

Friday 1 December 2017 | 13:40 CET | News
Telecommunications and internet providers in Germany are now required to provide more detailed information to customers about their cancelation periods and data after the Telecoms Transparency Regulation went into effect on 01 December. Providers must now print the notice period on their monthly invoice, including the latest date a customer can give notice by to avoid a contract renewal, as well as the date the contract began and the earliest possible date a customer can cancel their contract.
