German Transport Minister, mobile operators to convene for round table summit on 12 July

Federal Minister for Transport and Digital Infrastructure Andreas Scheuer and representatives from Germany's three main mobile operators, Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Telefonica, will convene for a round table summit on 12 July to discuss strategies and approaches to eliminate gaps in mobile network coverage across Germany, reported TelTarif.de. Participants will also discuss the conditions under which frequencies for the new 5G mobile standard will be auctioned off early next year, they added.
