German tVoD revenue exceeds conventional video hire in H1

The German market for transactional Video on Demand (TvoD) services exceeded the conventional video library market in the first half of 2017, according to audiovisual media association BVV. TVoD revenue was EUR 55 million in H1, up from EUR 46 million a year ago, compared with traditional video rental revenue of EUR 42 million, down from EUR 49 million a year ago.
