German web users not reading data protection policies

Almost one third (31%) of German internet users do not read the data protection policies of online services, according to research released by ICT industry group Bitkom. One fifth (21%) consciously decide not to review data protection policies, with 10 percent go online but believe they are using services where data protection is not relevant.
