Germans are the most cautious about online banking in EU

Germans are they most cautious about data security in the whole of the EU, with 27 percent refraining from using online banking, according to a report issued by Eurostat to coincide with Safer Internet Day. At 15 percent, Austrians are below the EU average of 18 percent. When it comes to online shopping, only one in ten Germans is deterred by potential risks (Austrians: 19%) compared with the EU average of 19 percent.
