Germans increasingly use internet, smart TVs to watch television content - Zattoo

Over a quarter (28%) of German online users use the internet to watch television programme, acording to a TV streaming published by Zatto. The figure, for 2020, is up 8 percentage points from 2019. Still, more than 40 percent still watch TV via cable or satellite. Cable TV grew by only 2 percentage points while satellite television dropped by 3 percentage points this year. About 6 percent of Germans receive their TV signal via DVB-T.
