Germans reluctant to pay with smartphone - survey

Two-thirds of Germans do not intend to use their smartphones for payments at the checkout, according to a recent ING-DiBa study cited on inside-handy.de. Three in ten Germans changed their cash use over the past twelve months compared to an average of 53 percent among European consumers. Only Germany's neighbour Austria showed a lower value at 28 percent.
