Germans to reduce Xmas spend online - survey

More Germans than ever will do their Christmas shopping online this year while the planned spending per head will be slightly lower, according to a survey conducted by German e-commerce federation BEVH and Creditreform Boniversum. The group of over 18s who are going to purchase their Christmas presents online and through mail order has gone up by three percent points. On average, each consumer will by 3.7 different products, with women buying more than men.
