Germany, Austria sVOD users increase 46% in H1

Connected television in Germany and Austria has now passed the threshold into rapid and sustained growth, with the total number of VoD subscribers growing by 46 percent in the first six months of this year, according to a report by Deadline Media, distributed by Broadband TV News. Amazon Prime Instant Video is market leader with an estimated 1.234 million subscribers at end of June.
