Germany needs to improve digital development - Telefonica

Germany has made good progress in the adoption of digital technology in many areas, but is still not exploiting its full potential, according to the new Telefonica Index on Digital Life (TIDL) study. The study examines the development of digital technology worldwide, and ranks Germany in 5th place out of the 34 countries included. In Europe, Germany ranks in 2nd place. On a global basis, the US, Canada and Australia are the leading digital nations. The report identifies several areas for improvement in Germany, including digital education and training, e-government and digital
