Germany's Wilhelm.tel to begin analogue switch-off in January

Monday 20 November 2017 | 15:26 CET | News
German cable operator Wilhelm.tel said it will cease broadcasting analogue TV programming across its network in northern Germany in 2018. The company said the analogue switch-off and transition to digital TV will first take place in the city of Norderstedt in Schlewig-Holstein during the period 15 January 2018 to 25 March 2018, with other regions to follow based on its experiences there. Analogue radio programming will be unaffected by the switch.
