G.fast to pass 100,000 UK premises at end-2017 - study

Point Topic has updated its ultrafast broadband coverage forecast for the UK. It expects Project Lightning to pass 4 million premises by the end of the decade. FTTP from BT will pass 2 million premises, with a focus on business coverage. Point Topic forecasts around 100,000 premises passed with G.fast technology at end-2017.
