Ghana formally declares MTN as operator with significant market power

Ghana's National Communications Authority (NCA) has declared MTN Ghana as an operator with significant market power (SMP). The regulator said the decision has been communicated to the operator. NCA said that SMP status applies to an organisation that controls at least 40 percent of a relevant market segment.
