Ghanaian cabinet considers cyber security bill

Deputy minister of communications George Nenyi Andah says the Cabinet is considering a Cyber Security Bill to regulate the sector and provide protection against internet fraud and hacking, Ghanaweb reported. The bill would create a Cyber Security Authority to oversee cyber security companies and activities in the country. According to the deputy minister, the bill would ensure prompt prosecution of cyber crimes and robust regulation of the cyber security sector.
