Ghanaian court orders mobile firms not give MoMo details to government for Covid-19 tracing

Accra High Court judge Justice Rebecca Sitties has ordered Ghana Telecom and MTN Ghana and all network service providers not to release subscribers' mobile money details and outbound subscriber details to the government, Joy Business reported. This follows a challenge by private legal practitioner Francis Kwarteng Arthur to President Akufo-Addo's order under Executive Instrument (EI) Number 63 and to the manner in which the order was being implemented.
