Ghanaian govt plans to monitor mobile money transactions

The Ghanaian government has announced plans to track mobile money transactions in the country to ensure they are kept secure from criminals, reports Eyewitness News. Minister of Communication Ursula Owusu-Ekuful said the government also intends to monitor telecom operators' billing systems in a bid to sanitise the sector. Owusu-Ekuful said that the National Communications Authority (NCA) has met with mobile operators to find the best way possible to do this.
