Giesecke+Devrient provides HypoVereinsbank with compostable payment cards

Giesecke+Devrient said it is providing HypoVereinsbank with its Convego Natural Payment Card. The body of the card is made of polylactic acid, a bioplastic produced from renewable raw materials, and is compostable. HypoVereinsbank provides its customers with the new cards at no extra cost, depending on their account.
