GiffGaff reviews investment plans after service outage

UK community-run MVNO GiffGaff, which uses the network of O2, said that it was reviewing its infrastructure investment plans following a full service outage on Friday 16 March. The outage began at 10.10 hours and lasted until just after 18.00 hours. It was caused by a major water leak at one of GiffGaff's third party suppliers which knocked out both the primary and backup systems, leaving customers unable to use call, text and data services.
