Gigaset introduces multi-cell system for campus DECT networks

Tuesday 3 December 2019 | 15:57 CET | News
Gigaset has introduced the new N870 IP PRO multi cell system for connections on industry campuses. The multi-cell system can be scaled up to 20,000 subscribers and 6,000 DECT base stations through the new N870 Integrator software.

It works with IP PBXs, both on premise and in the cloud. The new software for VMware works as a central database. It can connect can up to 100 DECT manager single systems with 250 handsets and 60 base stations. Employees with their DECT handsets can be reached in large areas without interruption.

The prerequisite to use the multi cell system is a VPN connection between the sites. Medium-sized companies can use the N870 IP PRO as a hardware integrator. Up to four DECT manager systems and a total of 800 handsets can be operated as a unique system, without providing a Linux system with VMware.

The N870 IP PRO works with S650H PRO, SL750H PRO and R650H PRO handsets. It can be used with a variety of IP phone systems, for example with the Asterisk and Broadsoft platforms, Starface, Nfon, 3CX, TeamFON, Wirecloud, Ansitel or Reventix. The hardwarecosts EUR 499.95.

It can also function as a integrator software and in this case includes the license for the software. The license for the integrator software costs EUR 499.95 and the license for each DECT manager costs EUR 349.95.
