Gilat Telecom enhances SD-WAN system with F5 technology

Gilat Telecom has announced enhancements to its Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN MAX), which could benefit African operators of fibre and satellite networks aiming to increase availability and bandwidth. The enhancements are based on integrating F5 technology to enable complex traffic management decisions depending on client, server or application status. Gilat Telecom is also using F5's event-driven scripting language to address application delivery challenges in any environment.
