Gilat Telecom Zambia receives ISP licence

Gilat Telecom, formerly known as Gilat Satcom, has announced that its subsidiary in Zambia has received a licence to provide cloud and fixed broadband services there from the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA). The licence will enable Gilat Telecom Zambia to meet the rising demand from businesses in Zambia for higher quality broadband service and a wider range of managed services than currently available, it said.
