Gionee launches Elife S5.5, flags LTE version

Chinese handset maker Gionee has introduced the Elife S5.5 smartphone. The device is 5.55 mm thick, features a 5-inch full HD Super Amoled screen, is powered by an octa-core 1.7 GHz processor, and features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The smartphone runs on the Android-based Amigo OS and has a 2300 mAh battery. The Elife S5.5 supports HSPA+42 Mbps with up to six different band sets and an LTE version will be available in June.
