Glo supplies Nigeria Police Force with 10,000 lines

Globacom is to provide 10,000 Closed User Group connections to the Nigeria Police Force, the Tribune reported online. This project is called FORCECOM 700 and will cover the entire force nationally. The facility will be extended to family members of the policemen and women. Head of the Public Sector Department of Globacom, Tunde Amunikoro, said that Glo had built in excess capacity to accommodate the communication demands of the force and had injected several soft and highly competitive conditions into this scheme to reduce the effect of the subsidy removal.
