Global Ad-based Video on Demand spend to hit USD 66 billion

Ad-based Video on Demand (AVOD) spend for TV episodes and movies will climb by 144 percent between 2020 and 2026 to reach USD 66 billion across 138 countries, according to the latest report by Digital TV Research. Growth dipped to only 9.2 percent in 2020 but is set to increase significantly from this year onwards.
