Global fixed broadband connections grow over 2% in Q3 to more than 1.1 billion

The number of fixed broadband connections worldwide reached 1.112 billion in the third quarter of 2019, up by 2.17 percent or 23.6 million connections from the previous quarter, according to Point Topic's latest study. The top ten broadband countries, by subscriber numbers, were China, with 400 million and the US, with over 100 million, followed by Japan, Germany, Russia, Brazil, France, the UK, South Korea and India.
