Global infrastructure hit record USD 142 bln in 2017, driven by server growth - Canalys

Global infrastructure shipments in 2017 rose 7 percent from the year before to a record USD 142 billion, according to the last study from Canalys.The figure includes shipments for servers, storage and networking products. The rise was driven by a strong growth at servers. Cisco, Dell EMC and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) made up the top three infrastructure vendors last year, together making up 50 percent of total worldwide shipments.
